Moving On: Day 9

Today has been amazing! It has been the day of the charity fun day, to raise money for children with heart problems. Coral was born with no valves or chambers to her heart and the blood went to her lungs. Doctors told her mum, T, to take her home to die. She lived to age 21, and this week, she would have turned 22.

Last night was random, I had to share a bed with my sister, we top and tailed, but I am the worst person to share a bed; I roll about far too much and spread out a lot, plus steal the blankets. Having to share a bed took it’s toll, I assumed I was farther into the middle of the bed, and rolled – rolled off the bed and fell out. It’s okay, I’m fine. It was quite funny, me and my sister couldn’t stop laughing about it.

We got up today, then went to the family fun day. Coral’s mum asked me and sister to pass out raffle tickets. That was scary, I tried to get my sister to ask the people. Speaking to people I don’t know is quite scary, my sister did a couple, but then she said I seemed to be better at selling and made me ask. Achievement No.1.. We then also helped serve tea and coffee and I also got complimented on my drink making!

The day was good all in all, and I really enjoyed it. There was a wild bird attraction and I got the hold an owl. For a minute, I felt like a Hogwarts student 😀

Going home tomorrow, then visiting a friend on Tuesday, job interview Wednesday and then back home again.

Today’s 3 Positives:
1) I went to the fun day
2) I sold raffle tickets
3) I held an owl

Today’s Score: 4/5
